Dimitria Davenport

Dimitria Davenport is a seasoned executive in the financial services industry, committed to advocating for, equipping, and empowering individuals to achieve financial success. As Vice President of Retail Banking and Compliance Officer at United Bank of Philadelphia, she provides strategic leadership to the Retail Banking team while advancing community development across the Bank’s footprint. Her career spans key leadership roles in Training, Consumer Banking, Retail Administration, and Human Resources, giving her a comprehensive understanding of bank operations and organizational dynamics.


Dimitria brings strong governance acumen and practical operational insight to her work. She is recognized for improving efficiency, guiding change, and strengthening teams through training and development initiatives that modernize systems, elevate staff capability, and improve operational outcomes.


Her passion for community development is evident both inside and outside the Bank. Dimitria cultivates partnerships that expand access to financial resources, create business opportunities in underserved communities, and strengthen economic mobility. She is especially committed to equipping women with the tools for financial independence, creating intimate learning environments that foster confidence, clarity, and long‑term financial wellness.


Dimitria maintains an active affiliation with The New Hope Temple Baptist Church where she has faithfully served for 30 years. As a servant leader, she was appointed as the first woman to chair the Trustee Ministry and currently serves as the Vice Chair. She leads the Church and Community and Sunday School Ministries. In addition, she serves on the Deacon’s and Hospitality ministries. Outside of New Hope, she serves as the financial secretary for the Pennsylvania Eastern Keystone Baptist Association (PEKBA) Women’s Ministry and Chair of Finance for the Pennsylvania Baptist State Convention.

Beyond her professional work, Dimitria is an advocate for physical wellness. An avid runner and active member of Black Girls Run (BGR), she previously served as a BGR Philadelphia Ambassador and continues to serve as a Run Coordinator, helping women embrace wellness as a sustainable lifestyle.


Her commitment to service extends to her board leadership. Dimitria serves as Chair of The City School and holds board affiliations with the African American Chamber of Commerce, the Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corporation (PARC), and the New Hope Community Development Corporation.


She earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from West Chester University and completed the Consumer Management Training Program with First Union National Bank.
