
Kimberly Coleman
Reverend Kimberly A. Coleman was born to Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Croston, Jr. on May 7, 1971, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Mt. Airy and attended Central High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Temple University’s Honor Program, a master’s degree in biblical counseling from Luther Rice University & Seminary in May 2015, and most recently graduated with a Master of Divinity in May 2021.
Reverend Coleman is the First Lady of the First Baptist Church of Crestmont and was licensed to preach the Gospel there on January 19, 2014. She was later ordained on March 19, 2017. She is the Servant Leader of the Women of Virtue Ministry as well as Co-Servant Leader of the Couple’s Ministry. Rev. Coleman also teaches Adult Bible Study and New Members’ classes. She was instrumental in establishing the scholarship and Jr. SWAAT ministries (the latter, a ministry for youth 12 and under) and continues to have a passion for ministering to the youth. Her ministries outside of her home church include the Baptist Minister Wives and Widows Union of Philadelphia & Vicinity, and she recently concluded her term as head of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Suburban Baptist Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania. She is also the Chief Financial Officer of Precision Time Systems, where she has worked full-time for the past 28 years.
As she continues to walk in faith, she is supported by her loving family. She is the proud mother of daughters Brianna and Nia and her son-in-love, AJ. Rev. Coleman has been enjoying her new role as grandmother to Miss Ariya Jade. She is also the grateful wife of Rev. Dr. Jerome Coleman.
