Sarah-Ashley Andrews

Sarah Ashley Andrews is a licensed professional counselor and community leader based in Philadelphia. She holds a BA in Biblical Studies with a minor in Human Services from Lancaster Bible College and a Master’s in Counseling from Lincoln University of PA. 


In addition to running a private therapy practice, she is the founder of Dare 2 Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to youth suicide prevention, which has educated nearly 8,500 people and recently launched Philadelphia’s first Mobile Therapy Unit.


Sarah Ashley serves as Vice President of the Philadelphia Board of Education, helping to guide the welfare of 200,000 students, 20,000 employees, and a $4.5 billion budget. Her leadership roles include co-chairing the Parent and Community Advisory Council and serving as liaison to student board representatives. She also co-hosts the Black in Therapy podcast, which works to normalize mental wellness in Black and Brown communities. Through her work in therapy, education, and advocacy, Sarah-Ashley remains deeply committed to creating spaces of healing, equity, and hope for individuals and communities alike.
