Zenida Driver

Dr. Zenida Driver brings over 23 years of experience as a psychotherapist, advocate, public speaker, and college educator, demonstrating a deep commitment to stabilizing and improving others' lives. She uses a relational approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that many wounds originate within relationships, and thus, healing must also occur through relational connections.

 

Dr. Zenida Driver serves a diverse client population, integrating clinical best practices with a strong foundation in spiritual values. This unique blend enables her to work effectively with individuals and families, providing both therapeutic and faith-based support. Her mission is to heal communities by instilling faith, hope, inspiration, and empowerment, while also teaching the practical how-to skills needed to strengthen and restore individuals and families.

 

Her faith and dedication to empowerment have guided both her academic and professional paths. Dr. Driver earned her Doctorate from Eastern University, a master’s degree from Drexel University, and a bachelor’s degree from West Chester University. She has served as a professor of clinical psychology at Wilmington University, Rowan University, and Delaware Technical Community College. She is currently an adjunct professor in the graduate studies program at Lincoln University.

 

In addition to her academic work, Dr. Driver serves as the Pennsylvania Executive Director of Sunrise Community Inc., a behavioral health agency that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities. She also sits on the Board of Directors for Universal Charter Schools in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As the founder and CEO of RightPath, LLC, Dr. Driver provides psychoeducational training for nonprofit organizations and offers therapy for individuals, families, and couples.

 

Furthering her outreach, Dr. Driver hosts a radio segment on WURD entitled “ThurZday’s with Dr. Z, and Carol Riddick” where she discusses mental health topics. Through all her work, she remains committed to bringing hope and healing to the community, one life at a time.
